Cosmos Wind Ensemble

brings together 5 international performers, each accomplished soloists, whose enthusiasm for chamber music has made the group Malta’s premiere wind chamber ensemble. The players need little introduction. Flutist Rebecca Hall (Canada) has served as principal flute of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra since 1997. Her colleague, principal oboe John McDonough (Great Britain), combines his orchestral career with that of professor of oboe at the Johann Strauss School of Music. Godfrey Mifsud (Malta), teaches clarinet at the School of Music and is a busy soloist and freelance performer. Ulrike Buhlmann (Germany), comes to Malta from her native Berlin, where she is active as a bassoonist with German orchestras. José Garcia Gutiérrez (Spain) is the principal horn of the RTVE Orchestra of Madrid.
